- Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (with a concentration on “Media Representation of Minorities”) from UC-Berkeley, where she minored in Theater. She went on to earn a Master’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
- Lived in Baltimore growing up and attended the same high school as sports correspondent Melissa Stark.
- Graduate of Syosset High School, Syosset, New York.
- Lead singer of the pop/rock band Wicked Wisdom. Wicked Wisdom is well-known for being both mainstream pop and brutal heavy metal.
