Biography of Gretchen Mol
Gretchen studied acting and musical theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the William Esper Studio. She honed her acting skills in the theater, appearing in such productions as “Bus Stop”, “No Exit” and “Godspell”.
Mol was touted as the “Next Big Thing” after appeared on the cover of the September 1998 of “Vanity Fair”. Mol was born on November 8, 1972 in Deep River, Connecticut, the daughter of a school principal father and an artist mother. Before breaking into acting, she was a model; her first acting job in a television commercial for Coca-Cola commercial.
