- Also studied with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and the Shakespeare Institute, Stratford-upon-Avon (in conjunction with the Royal Shakespeare Company)
- Originally wanted to be a professional volleyball player and had even thought of becoming a member for Brazilian team, Sogipa.
- Speaks Portuguese as her native language, as well as English as her second language.
- Voulunteers with the Pediatric AIDS Foundation and AIDS Project Los Angeles.
