She also worked as an aerobics instructor and in property management. She studied classical ballet from age five. Born July 23, 1970 in Las Vegas, Charisma Carpenter was named after an Avon perfume (a fact that did not sit well with her). A long career in TV now seems assured for Charisma. When the folks at WB heard about this, they made her sign a clause that she would refrain from that for the length of her contract).
Charisma Carpenter trivia
- Her parents gave her the nickname Busy, because as an infant she was always moving, the name stuck, and it even appears on her driver’s license.
- Attended Nevada Ave Elementary School in West Hills, California. When “Full House” began, her teachers were often invited to attend tapings of the show. She spoke at her graduation in the spring of 1988 and received a roaring ovation from the families gathered.
- Speaks Welsh fluently.
- Graduated from the ENSATT (France’s École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théâtre) in 1998.
- Cécile and boyfriend Guillaume are expecting their first baby, a boy, in June 2007.
