She has been labeled the “Pop Princess” of England, UK.. She caught the eyes of record producers who were interested in signing a young vocalist when she was the poster girl for the ad campaign of a British pop music magazine, “Smash Hits”. Her second single, “Girlfriend”, was also a #1 hit. By the time she turned 16, Billie had released 4 singles that all made the top three on the charts.

• An animal lover, Bijou owns two dogs and a horse. One is a white male Pekinese named Mama’s Flea Angel Eyes (called Flea), which she got in 1996. The other is a black female Pek-a-Poo (a Pekinese/Poodle mix) named Sweet Pea (called Pea), which she got in early 2000 after convincing a journalist who was interviewing her to buy the puppy for her. Her horse is named Finnegan.
