  • His debut album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” was the highest debut ever with 900,000 copies sold in the first week.
  • His mother was killed at age 23, when he was just eight years old.

  • He reads scripts for people auditioning, in many movie auditions. He often auditions himself, while there, and is often given minor roles as “presents” from the director. He says that in the hours he spends with the directors, in the audition room, the director gets to know him and likes to give him little parts.

  • Named as one of the top “10 Actors to watch” by Variety in 2002. Included on Entertainment Weekly’s “it list” in 2002.
  • Has fraternal twin brothers, Matt and Sean.
